Apollo Education - How we do it

Passion
As parents ourselves, and with many of our team involved in the education sector outside of work, we have a passion for education. As a business we also fully embrace the concept of lifelong learning and have recently opened our own state-of-the-art Learning and Development centre.

Partnering
We liaise extensively with all local stakeholders to ensure our facilities meet a wide range of needs. Additionally, our Community Investment teams develop bespoke initiatives aimed at involving the whole community in the design and building process to ensure a lasting legacy.

Delivery
We have a proven track record in delivering award-winning facilities that are valued equally by Local Authorities, Head Teachers, teaching staff and students alike. Working in and around learning environments provides many challenges, particularly in terms of safety, noise reduction and minimising inconvenience to curriculum life. Apollo Education has particular experience of working within occupied buildings.

Quality
We take enormous pride in our work and use only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship on every project we complete. Our design partners and supply chain are at the forefront of installing new systems into educational buildings and we view their involvement as critical to driving innovation and to sustaining improvement in performance.

Sustainability
Apollo is one of the few companies to have all our projects and offices successfully accredited to ISO 14001 - the international standard on environmental management. We utilise champions in each area of construction who are charged with exploring sustainable materials and methods of construction. We assess what opportunities exist to reduce the environmental impact such as the re-use of existing building assets, minimisation of waste, energy in construction, minimisation of pollution emissions and the conservation of water.
