Elm Court School took ‘Best Design for a Remodelled School’ and Park Campus PRU won the ‘Innovation in PE and Sport’ category.
Both schools were delivered on behalf of the London Borough of Lambeth and follow the success for Apollo Education last year when The Michael Tippett School won the Best Design for a New School and the prestigious Grand Prix Award.
Picking up the Award for Apollo Education Marcel Hendricks, Divisional Director stated that “We are delighted that our first three BSF projects have all now received PfS awards and we are particularly pleased in having won the Award for Best Design for a New School with The Michael Tippett School, we have now done the same for a remodelled school with Elm Court."
Apollo Education was also one of the prime sponsors of the event, including the Award for Innovation in Student Engagement. Christine Lemmon, Apollo’s Community Investment Manager presented the Award with celebrity Dara O’Briain to City Academy Hackney.
Lambeth Council’s BSF programme continues to go from strength to strength and these prestigious awards pay tribute to that fact
