Apollo Housing has been selected as the sole provider for a five year home improvement programme for Old Ford Housing Association. The contract is valued at £42 million in the initial period.

Apollo will be upgrading Tower Hamlet’s Parkside Estate’s 2,550 homes. The project will begin with internals whilst external requirements are determined. Among the works due to take place are:

• Decent homes works in tenanted units (bathrooms, kitchens, mechanical and electrical services upgrades and redecorations)
• Asbestos removal
• Pre-decorations repairs (including both internal and external common parts, landscaping and environmental improvements)
• Window and door replacements
• Cyclical external redecorations

The win strengthens Apollo’s work with three other housing associations that are part of the Circle Anglia Group – Roddens, Circle 33 and Mole Valley. In total the value of works is worth over £100 million.
